Creating a new App

Here are the step-by-step instructions for obtaining OAuth credentials for Spotify

1. Go to the Spotify Developer Portal and sign in
2. Click on “Create App” on the right of the screen
3. Specify an “App Name”, “App Description”
4. Under “Redirect URIs”
   1. In the Dynamic dashboard, visit either social account linking on the Info Capture page or in the Social Signup page depending on whether you want to do linking or signup.
   2. Open the Spotify configuration section.
   3. Copy the Redirect URL and paste it in the “Redirect URI” field in Spotify Developer Portal.
5. Under “Which API/SDKs are you planning to use?”, check “Web API”
6. Check the terms and conditions
7. Click “Save” at the bottom of the form
8. Once saved, click on the app and click “Settings”
9. Copy the “Client ID” and “Client Secret” and paste it into the “Set up Spotify Auth” Modal in the Dynamic Dashboard

That’s it! You now have OAuth credentials for your Spotify application that you can use in Dynamic.
